Spring decoration: A few ideas to get started

It’s what we’ve all been waiting for: spring time is just around the corner! Don’t you just love spring decoration? Besides the scent of fresh flowers, sundresses and the sound of the birds when we wake up of course! It reminds us of spring time cleaning as well as redecorating our homes. This post contains a few different ideas to restyle and spring-proof your home.

What you need to know about spring decoration

Spring decoration doesn’t have to be expensive at all. Simply look around in your home for vases, plateaus or trays and such. Pastels really brighten up your home and really fits well with the season. A lot of the spring decoration items can be used again, so there’s no need to over buy each year!

1. Tulips

Tulips are first of all a great way to spring decorate your home. You don’t have to buy fresh tulips every time they withered. A brilliant way of keeping them fresh is getting a few bulbs and keeping them in a few inches of water in a little vase. For more tulip decoration, click here.

2. Daffodils

Much as tulips, daffodils will really bring spring decoration inside your home. Put some daffodil bulbs in an inch of water. That way your daffodils will stay fresh and you’ll enjoy them even longer. To get the same kind of vase, simply get a big and a small vase. Put the smaller vase inside the bigger vase, add colored decoration sand and voila!

3. Candles

Candles are also indispensable in your home. Simply look for a nice plateau which suits your home the best. Add some candles, little vases with decoration sand and you’re done! Another way of creating a springlike effect is adding a bird with a nest.

4. Hyacinth

5. See-through table

The nice thing about a see-through table is the ability to adjust the table to the right season. Pick a neutral, yet suitable color that fits your home best and add a few nests to create a springtime ambiance.
