Determine whether a given whole number in the range 1-100 is a multiple of a given one-digit number. Determine whether a given whole number in the range 1-100 is prime or composite.

Map out the chart on paper. Students will fill out three 100 charts that show factor patterns.
Chart 1 will show 2,4,8,10
Chart 2 will show 3,6,9,12
Chart 3 will show 5,7,11
Build the 100s Chart in Minecraft
Load the attached Minecraft world.
Students will get into groups of three and enter the groups world, so that each group will be in their own world. Then they will work together to build rectangles that show the factors for each number.
Last they will label the factors on the slate.
Each student in the group is responsible for 1 out of the three 100 charts that were made on paper.
Each group is responsible for peer review of their teammates factor rectangles.
1) The student was able to identify what numbers are prime and what numbers are composite.
2) The student was able to explain the difference between prime and composite numbers.
3) The student was able to show numbers with matching factors on the 100 chart.
4) The student was able to explain the patterns made by matching numbers on a number chart.
5) The student was able to complete the map with rectangles showing all the factors of whole numbers between 1 and 100.
